Pam Grier (born May 26, 1949) is an American actress who rose to fame in the 1970s for starring in blaxploitation and women-in-prison films. She achieved mainstream celebrity after her appearance in 1997's 'Jackie Brown.' She also had a recurring role on the popular Showtime series 'The L Word.'
