Friend: Pamela Anderson Is Not Pregnant, Or Broke

Pamela Anderson certainly seems like she's been under some stress lately -- she said she breaks down in tears every time she sees her Malibu mansion, she's supposedly being sued by her 5 contractors for a heap of money, and she looks like she's put on a few pounds, and now people keep saying she's pregnant. Good thing she'll be in London in December to star in a play, and hopefully regain some sanity.

But, not everyone backs up the claims about her being pretty bummed (and bumped) out right now. Her fashion designer friend Richie Rich says a baby on the way is not a factor, because she's not prego. In fact, like any good friend, he says she's doing great. "She's not pregnant, she's not broke and just happy," he told Us magazine yesterday.

We have to say we believe him, we saw her in that Baywatch bathing suit a few weeks ago -- there was certainly no room for a baby in that scrap of red Lycra. Plus, she was out drinking with the Doritos ad guy this week.

Richie Rich says the mama of 2 isn't talking about the pregnancy rumor, though, because she's hurt by the gossip. "She actually gets upset because her kids go to school," he said. "Of course, she cares. She’s a human being. We’re all human. We just poop glitter that’s the only difference."

He continued: "She's an icon, and she lives her life, and people can say this or that -- most of the time it's not true. I think Pamela represents a big responsibility in being a cool person. And that's why I like her. She's cool, and I’d want her to be my soccer mom!"
