Riya Sen (born January 24, 1981 as Riya Dev Varma) is an Indian actress who got her start in Bollywood movies in the film "Style" in 2001. Riya Sen is the granddaughter of Suchitra Sen and the daughter of Moon Moon Sen. Besides cinema and music, Riya Sen has also taken up the cause of AIDS education, working to dispel myths about the disease in Southeast Asia.

Riya Sen was out for a shoot in Pune for ‘Banoo and Babloo’, a movie by the debut director Yunus Sajawat. It turned out that, Riya had some problems with the movie’s costumes and she later thought out a way to rectify it. Riya personally went to Mumbai in between the shooting schedule and sources seemed to say, “Unperturbed by her hectic schedules, Riya immediately took it upon herself to design the entire look for her character. She managed it all with admirable ease.”
Riya surely did impress her team very much and since then she has being praised highly for her timely fashion knowledge and her dedication to the work.
