Sporty Spice's real name is Melanie Jayne Chisholm or Mel C. She was born on the 12th of January 1974 in Merseyside, England
Melanie Chisholm, 35, was one fifth of 1990s pop sensations the Spice Girls. She went on to have a solo career with hits including I Turn To You. She had her first child, Scarlet, this year and joins the cast of Blood Brothers on Monday at Londons Phoenix Theatre
