The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Spc. Tony Carrasco Jr., 25, of Berino, N.M., died Nov. 4 in Ad Dawr, Iraq, of a gunshot wound suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit.
