The government took my baby~!

Yeah, still not doing so well with the updates. I just haven’t been very motivated to post lately. In fact, I haven’t really had anything of interest to talk about, but I suppose something is better than nothing..

It’s almost over! The last day for two of my classes is Wednesday, and the last day for the other one is next Monday. I waited for over two hours today to change my major, which took only about five minutes. About a year ago, they introduced the “Take a Number” system, and it’s not really working.  Before that, you could go see just about any teacher in the school as an advisor during their office hours, and now everyone gets thrown into the same massive queue. Such an “improvement”… I have an appointment to see my new advisor tomorrow for registration… this is sounding pretty familiar, isn’t it?

I already have my schedule made-up, considering I’m not too late to get everything I want. I should be taking 13 credit hours, which is the most I’ve ever taken at once. I’m going with Text Editing Applications, Word Processing, Records Management, Elementary Spanish & Spreadsheet. Exciting, right? Well it is for me… at least compared the Criminal Justice crap.

Thanksgiving was good. We spent the actual day with my family and the day after with David’s. Nothing new, really. We haven’t even started our Christmas shopping yet. Big mistake, I know… Fortunately we’ve decided to go with gift cards for the most part. I’m just too old to try and pick out the perfect present for everyone.

We did do our decorating early though….before Thanksgiving actually. Once again, I’m sure we’re seen as the weirdos of the neighborhood.

I’m not really sure what’s going to become of CheapGoodiesPLZ!.  I haven’t updated in three months because basically I’ve run out of subject matter.  It was a great idea, but I had a feeling that I wouldn’t be able to stretch it out for too long.  So it looks like it’s probably on its way out.

Same goes for the Dream Log, which I only posted in once.  I still have lots of log-worthy dreams, but usually they’re too complex (or embarrassing) to write about..

I’ve never been good with commitment in the internet world.
