Joseph Germanotta Readies His Restaurant

Lady Gaga's father, Joseph Germanotta, looks to open his new restaurant Joanne Trattoria in New York City by the end of 2011. Lady Gaga and her father originally invested in the Upper West Side restaurant Vince & Eddies back in 2010. It has been reported that they eventually took complete control of the restaurant and shut it down for renovations. The restaurants name, Joanne, is the name of Joseph's sister who died when she was 19 and also the middle name of his famous daughter. It is also being reported that Art Smith, who has worked with Oprah and appeared on "Top Chef Masters" has signed on as chef.
