U.S. Senate Passes Iraq Funding Bill(Hillary Clinton)
Senate Armed Services Committee member and Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. The Senate voted 70-26 to approve $165 billion to pay for military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan into next spring. In a separate vote, the Senate also approved adding billions of dollars for domestic programs such as heating subsidies for the poor and money for fighting wildfires to the war bill.
