Taxi Driver Protest Jams Melbourne's CBD

Melbourne taxi drivers celebrate after the end of their protest in front of Flinders Street Station on April 30, 2008 in Melbourne, Australia. The taxi drivers were protesting against violence and abuse of taxi drivers in Melbourne. The protest has caused large traffic disruption to central Melbourne as trams and traffic have been prevented from entering the area. The  Government has agreed to meet their demands to improve driver safety.
