House Leaders Discuss The American Clean Energy And Security Act(Barack Obama)
U.S. President Barack Obama comments on passage of the energy bill in the House of Representatives June 26, 2009 in the Reception Room of the White House in Washington, DC. The measure, which narrowly passed 219 to 212, would require the U.S. to cut pollution by 17 percent from 2005 levels by 2020 and by 80 in the next century through a cap-and-trade system of pollution allowances that can be bought and sold.
