Dr. Jill Biden (R), wife of Vice President Joe Biden, talks with breast cancer survivor Venus Gines during a breast cancer awareness event in the East Garden, also know as the Jackie Kennedy garden, at the White House October 23, 2009 in Washington, DC. October marks the 25th anniversary of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pointing to people who have been denied insurance because of previous battles with breast cancer, Obama used the event to highlight the need for health care reform.
