U.S. Dept. Of Transportation Displays Fleet Of Hydrogen Cars

New hydrogen powered vehicle are displayed August 13, 2008 at a Hydrogen Ride and Drive event at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. The morning event is part of a national road tour of hydrogen powered cars and the unveil a fleet of new hydrogen vehicles organized by the U.S. Department of Transportation and Dept. of Energy. Automakers participating in the project include BMW, Daimler, GM, Honda, Hyundai and Toyota. The tour looks to raise the awareness of Hydrogen as a viable and cleaner vehicle fuel.
