Model Liya Kebede and designer Chris Aires takes part in the Chris Aires fashion show during the Africa Rising Music and Fashion festival in the Kennedy Centre on August 1, 2008 in Washington, DC. Jay-Z and John Legend are headlining the event which campaigns for a different approach in Africa. Created by media mogul Nduka Obaigbena the tour officially launched in Nigeria with two shows in July. Washington is the third stop on a four city, three nation tour. The event will culminate in a grand finale in London's Royal Albert Hall on October 14th.
