The British buggy producer is issuing approximately one million safety kits to consumers in the USA after receiving dozens of reports of children's fingertips getting amputated on the hinge of the strollers. The company is not, however, currently offering the same kits to consumers in Europe. A European company spokesperson defended the decision, saying: "There are lower number of similar reported incidents among the considerably higher number of Maclaren buggies sold in Europe". Instead, the company will be issuing extra warning labels to consumers outside the US. The models involved in the safety alert include Volo, Triumph. Quest Sport, Quest Mod, Techno XT, Techno XLR, Twin Triumph, Twin Techno and Twin Traveller. ..
