Santa Ana Winds Stoke Wildfires In Southern California(Michael Richards)

Malibu residents Gary Brophy, Emely Rath and Michael Richards take cover from high winds and smoke as a fire burns October 21, 2007 in Malibu, California. The arrival of Santa Ana Winds is bringing gusts of 60- to 80-miles per hour in Malibu and up to 108 miles per hour on a peak near one of the fires that broke out in Los Angeles County this morning. Fire conditions are dangerous this year as a result of the driest season since records began 130 years ago.
