Louis Vuitton Spring 2010: Bringing Back the Backpack

Fashion has a funny relationship with irony. Just when you thought it was safe to assume that a  certain trend had died forever - say, the mini-backpack that slowly made its way onto soccer moms everywhere in the mid-90s - it rears its ugly head again more than a decade later. Next up: slap bracelets.

Jacobs described his Spring 2010 Louis Vuitton collection as "street, with a look "embracing the hippie-cyber, tribal-punk world." Perhaps that's explanation enough for the predator-turned backpack:

But these weren't the only accessories to behold. Many of the other handbags featured fluffy tails and brightly-colored tassels.

So, what do you say - is any of this worthy of baglust?
