Here we are in week 3 of Season 2 with Episode 2.03 - Chuck Versus the Break-Up. Yvonne Strahovski was in fine form this week dealing with the turmoil of Bryce showing back up right when things are heating up with Chuck. For the entire second season, something hasn’t been quite right with me. It was just too much direct confrontation of a relationship whose tension is one of the most defining traits of the show. Wow. Absolutely wow. This has to be the best episode of Chuck to date. Not only was it funny, but it also puts our girl Yvonne front and center for some backstory on her character, Sarah Walker. Not only that, but we were treated with not just one, but two guest stars in Nicole Richie and Ben Savage. Woohoo!! Anna’s back! Not to mention, I’m pretty sure this is absolutely my favorite episode of the entire series. I feel like I say that every week, but this time I mean it. “That schnook from last night, Chippy?” They could not have picked a better actor to play Jack Burton. I love that guy. I loved him in Office Space, and he was the saving grace of the ill-fated Brady Bunch movies. The guy is a class act in comedy. His whole character was absolutely brilliant.
